STEPS

We were eating lunch yesterday at Cotham's in the City with Max, our two year old. He doesn't really sit down and eat. He sort of roams around the place checking everything out and occasionally stops by for a fry or a drink. We were sitting pretty close to some steps, so he gave us that "hey, look, I'm about to go up and down those steps, so this is your one chance to tell me no" look. It was just a few steps, so we have him the nod. He spent about 10 minutes just making his way up and down those steps, jumping, hopping, scooting. Nothing but smiles for about 10 minutes. Why? Because to Max, steps were fun. They were a bit challenging, but when mastered, the stairs provided little moments of growth for Max. THECITYCHURCH wants to be a place where anyone, from any stage in life can take steps, no matter how small, to get a little closer to God. While the steps may be challenging or unfamiliar, we commit to you that the steps will exciting ones. We believe that God desires all of us to take another step, and we hope you'll choose to take yours with us. And maybe we'll swing by Cotham's and grab a fry and a drink. Works for Max.
