SUNDAY DUMP::JULY 19

  • Took a couple of days off this week and took the fam to Great Wolf Lodge in Dallas. This place is sick. Indoor water park/hotel/arcade/outdoor water park/spa/etc. I was greatly impressed, and the kids were were overwhelmed. It was good to spend some time with just us. Highly recommend the place.
  • Visited IKEA on our way home. Listen, if you've never been to an IKEA you should stop reading this blog and go immediately. The closest one is right outside of Dallas, and you could be there in about 5 hours from my house. This place is a furniture store/restaurant/kid's play place etc. It's about the size of say 5 Walmart Super Centers (without tube top and sweat pant wearing moms beating their kids). IKEA.COM
  • Finished up our series called "I Became a Christian and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt." It was based on a book by the same name by a guy named Vince Antonucci. Seriously, the funniest book ever--if you don't count the Jack Handy books. Those were super funny. Used to read those in college and laugh out loud during class. Anyway, the series was great.
  • Next Sunday is our next CHANGEAPALOOZA. We're meeting at the church at 10:00 and taking a ton of supplies over to the Union Rescue Mission. Here's what we're looking to collect on that day: bleach, pine sol, laundry soap, toilet paper, socks and men's underwear. Bring all you can and go with us to bless the heck out of the rescue mission.
  • August 2 will be our first ever baptism experience. This will be unlike any baptisms you've ever been apart of. This is a must attend experience.
  • This week marks Ashley and I's 10th anniversary. 10 years. 10 freaking years. How does she do it? Best 10 years ever. My wife is quality. Ladies, seriously. This girl is the real deal.

She is the real deal and I'm not sure how she does it. Happy Anniversary to you both!

Us, too! 10 years. Crazy how fast it went. Y'all should come for dinner sometime. Is that even a possibility with your cram-packed busy schedule?
