SUNDAY DUMP::JUNE 28

  • Set up a meeting to confirm our connection with Pulaski Heights Middle School.  Meeting has been rescheduled, so stay tuned.
  • Finally got trash service at the church.
  • Had our initial creative team meeting this week.  This was a really exciting meeting for me.  Lots of new people with very creative minds.
  • Got our coffee and water service set up at the church.
  • Went down to Super Summer Arkansas on Thursday.  Great to see all of my friends.  Great to see teenagers worshipping.
  • Spent some time with Ashley and the boys at her parents.  Lots of swimming.  Correction.  Too much swimming.
  • Crazy day at THECITYCHURCH.  First,  threw a bunch of breakers before the service started.  Second, A/C never came on.  Third, found the breaker box, then accidentally turned the heaters on in a couple of the rooms.  Fourth, despite all of that, 2 people accepted Christ into their lives.  What a week.
Prayer Requests:
1)  That we can be a great church for those who became Christians this morning.
2)  That the A/C will work next week.
3)  That we can continue to reach out to those that are un-churched or de-churched.

SUNDAY DUMP

Each Sunday I'll be reviewing my week.  Enjoy!

  • Spent the week @ Siloam Springs Youth Camp.  Never been.  Loved it. Super laid back.  Great group of teenagers there.  25 teenagers began their walk with Jesus.
  • Thought and planned a lot during my off times.  Really needed to do this.
  • NWA has a lot of new churches.  Why doesn't central Arkansas?
  • It was good to get home on Friday.  Spent Saturday in the pool with the boys.
  • Family painted me four paintings for our bedroom.  Amazing.
  • CHANGEAPALOOZA Part One happened.  THECITYCHURCH worked at Riverfront Park on Sunday morning.  Great turnout.  This church is killing it.  Dirty and Fearless.
  • Father's Day night, we went to the Travs game.  They stunk, but lots of fun with Ashley and the boys.  Thanks to Geyer Springs for the free baseballs.  I think if THECITYCHURCH sponsored a night at the Travs game, we'd put our logo on spit cups.  It's all about knowing your audience.
  • Eager for what's next with THECITYCHURCH.
